I’ve already set the Thanksgiving table about a hundred times in my mind. I’m so excited because we are hosting family for the first time at our place for Thanksgiving, which also happens to be one of my favorite holidays. Honestly, I think the Canadian Thanksgiving is too early for my liking. It’s so early in October that I barely have any time to get the summer stuff away!

This fall, instead of reds and oranges, I’m loving the subtle pops of pink we are seeing everywhere. Is pink a neutral? Because it is in my books! As trendy as this dusty pink is in home decor right now, it’s actually a pretty practical color all year round. I’m totally OK with splurging on a few side plates in this color, especially because I know my Christmas and New Years decor plans will include a heavy dose of pink, too. Also, can we talk about that gold flatware? I had to calm down when I found out Ikea sold them. I’m absolutely in love with them. How fun are they?
Now can we just hurry up to the pumpkin pie, please?!
What are you most excited about for fall? Is it all the leaves changing color? The family time? THE FOOD?
